African Humanities Program (AHP) Workshop

                                                      Notice from the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (ASA) 

The African Humanities Program (AHP) of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) in conjunction with the University of Ghana is organizing a two-day pre-application workshop from 5-6 November, 2020. The workshop, which will be facilitated by senior scholars/reviewers of the AHP, is intended to prepare and guide potential post-doctoral fellows through their application process. 

  

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Academic And Students Affairs Visits Korle-Bu Campus

Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo with College officials, Deans and Heads of Departments

The Pro Vice-Chancellor responsible for Academic and Students Affairs (ASA), Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo has visited the Korle-Bu campus of the University of Ghana. This visit came off on Tuesday March 3, 2020.

The purpose of the visit was to enable the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor (ASA) get acquainted with the peculiar structures and the accompanying challenges within which the College of Health Sciences operates.

Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo is the new Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs.  Her appointment which begins today, November 1, 2019 was announced last month.

Delegation From Millennium Challenge Corporation Visits University Of Ghana

A delegation from Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has paid a working visit to the University of Ghana. The delegation led by the Chief of Staff at MCC, Ms Lara Smith, was at the University to familiarize themselves with the progress made in the implementation of activities under the Race to Retrofits Programme and on the construction of the Primary Substation under Ghana’s Power Compact Programme.
