Pro Vice-Chancellor, Academic And Students Affairs Visits Korle-Bu Campus

Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo with College officials, Deans and Heads of Departments

The Pro Vice-Chancellor responsible for Academic and Students Affairs (ASA), Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo has visited the Korle-Bu campus of the University of Ghana. This visit came off on Tuesday March 3, 2020.

The purpose of the visit was to enable the Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor (ASA) get acquainted with the peculiar structures and the accompanying challenges within which the College of Health Sciences operates.

A meeting was held with officials at the Korle- Bu campus of the University of Ghana during the visit. The meeting was attended by the Provost, College of Health Sciences, Rev. Prof. Patrick F. Ayeh-Kumi, the College Secretary, the College Finance Officer, Deans of Schools, the College Academic Officers and School Accountants.

The visit ended with a familiarization tour of the Korle- Bu campus. The tour targeted lecture halls, residential facilities and the clinical simulation centre of the Ghana Medical School. As part of the tour, the delegation visited some lecture halls where lectures were in session.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor’s delegation included Mrs. Christie Badu, Acting Director of the Academic Affairs Directorate, Mr. Charles Kofinti, Director, PDMSD, Mrs. Lydia Nyako-Danquah, Head of Examinations Unit Academic Affairs Directorate, and Mrs. Arhizah Blay-Abiti, Assistant Registrar at the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor.
