Undergraduate students in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Ghana have opportunities to engage in mathematical research. For single-major students, completing a research project is a mandatory requirement for graduation. Combined-major and major-minor students, however, may choose to substitute a research project in place of certain taught courses, allowing flexibility in their curriculum while gaining research experience.
