The culmination of both the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs is the submission of a graduate research thesis. The Ph.D. thesis is expected to present original research of a quality suitable for publication in a high-level, peer-reviewed journal indexed in Scopus or Web of Science. In contrast, the M.Phil. thesis may not necessarily involve original research, though it demonstrates mastery of the subject and research methodology.
