Dr. Joseph K. Ansong is presently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Ghana. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Alberta in Canada, a M.Sc. degree in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Twente (the Netherlands) and a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Cape Coast (Ghana). His area of research is in Applied Mathematics, specifically in Fluid Dynamics, Mathematical Modeling and Physical Oceanography. He is interested in applying mathematics to understand physical, geophysical, and biological phenomena in our environment.
