Certificate Issuance and Replacement
Certificate Award
A certificate is awarded to a candidate who has been duly admitted to the University, fulfilled all obligations, and satisfactorily completed all University Required Courses, as well as School and Departmental Requirements specified for the degree.
Collection of Certificates
Certificates are distributed to students after their congregation ceremony. If a student cannot attend the ceremony, they may collect their certificate in person by following these steps:
1. Book an appointment via our online portal to pick up the certificate. https://rb.gy/9bzc0e
2. Obtain financial clearance from the Students’ Accounts Office located on the ground floor of the KAB Jones-Quartey Building.
3. Pay for the certificate at the University’s Cash Office.
4. Submit the receipt, statement of accounts, and Student Identification Card at Room D8, Academic Affairs Directorate (AAD) on the scheduled date to pick up your certificate.
Replacement of Certificates
Certificates are issued only once and cannot be replaced if lost.
Late Collection of Certificates
Graduands who do not collect their certificates within six months of graduation will be required to pay a penalty equivalent to the current graduation fee.
