Housing on campus

Campus experience is enriched by the diversity of students and faculty from across the globe. Residential and non-residential students have ample access to the University’s academic resources in the colleges, schools, institutes, centres, departments, lecture halls, libraries and research facilities. The University provides accommodation for students, subject to availability of space in the halls of residence.

Traditional Halls

The University of Ghana's traditional halls, Akuafo, Legon, Volta, Commonwealth, and Mensah Sarbah, are steeped in history and tradition. UGEL Hostels

The UGEL halls, Hilla Limann, Kwapong, Elizabeth Sey, and Jean Nelson, are modern and well-equipped residences at the University of Ghana. These halls offer a comfortable and convenient living environment for students, with amenities such as internet access, and laundry facilities. UGEL halls also promote a vibrant social scene, providing opportunities for students to connect with their peers and engage in various activities.
