Dr. Toledo Mayari Yabang is a senior lecturer and a consultant in the Department of Orthodontics and Paedodontics at the University of Ghana Dental School. She holds a Dental Degree (DDS), a Master of Sciences (MSc) in Community Oral Health, and a PhD in Dentistry from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana- Cuba, Faculty of Stomatology “Raúl González Sánchez”, and dual specialist qualifications in Orthodontics from the same institution.  She is a referee of the Cuban Journal of Dentistry, and the Ghana Dental Journal. Her area of expertise is the study of the potential growth in Orthodontic patients. As a teacher, she has trained undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as mentored young faculty at Cuba and Ghana. She is interested in research and dental education.
