The School of Engineering Sciences is proud to announce the development of two digital platforms by Mr. Toussaint Afadolo, a Level 400 student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and former Vice President of ESUG. Following his successful deployment of the SignAttendance system, Mr. Afadolo has now developed SES-LAB, a digital equipment booking system that allows students and researchers to reserve departmental lab equipment online, and SES-CIMS, a chemical inventory management system that provides real-time tracking of chemicals, including stock levels, storage locations, and expiry dates.
The platforms were presented to the Dean, Ing Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann and Heads of Departments: Dr. Ing. Peace Korshiwor Amoatey (Agricultural Engineering), Prof. Bernard Owusu Asimeng (Biomedical Engineering), Dr. Vitus Apalangya (Food Process Engineering), and Prof. Emmanuel Nyankson (Materials Science and Engineering). Both platforms are set to enhance efficiency and safety in our laboratories.
