About

Dr. Richard Boakye Owoare is a senior lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Ghana. A Synthetic Organic Chemist with research interests in natural product synthesis, organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, and medicinal chemistry. My research focuses on the design, synthesis, characterization, and biological evaluation of novel organic molecules with potential applications in drug discovery and materials science. I am also involved in teaching organic chemistry and its related subjects at the Department of Chemistry, University of Ghana.

Research Interest

Research interest encompasses natural product synthesis, organic synthesis, polymer chemistry and medicinal chemistry, with particular focus on the design, synthesis, characterization and biological evaluation of novel organic compounds with potential pharmaceutical and materials application.
