We are pleased to announce that Prof. Jongsoo Park will be hosted by CAS as our second Visiting Scholar beginning September 1, 2018.

Prof. Park is an economist and teaches at the Department of Economics at Gyeongsang National University in Korea. He will spend two semesters at CAS under the Visiting Professors Programme(which CAS successfully applied for) sponsored by the prestigious Korea Foundation.

While at CAS he will teach courses at the Department of Economics and the Institute for Statistical, Social and Economic Research(ISSER). He will also give the CAS Trilogues Lecture.

 Prof. Park was former  Director of the Center for Area Studies and Dean of Social Science,Gyeongsang National University. He brings to CAS and the University of Ghana a richly textured academic and professional record.
