ENG in Mining Engineering (Mineral Economics), McGill, Canada and several post graduate certificates in mining environmental management, environmental and regulatory monitoring of the oil and gas industry, and petroleum economics and risk management from several institutions around the world. Presently lectures in the Department of Earth, Science University of Ghana. Chief Director of the Ministry of Energy from 2011 to 2017 and adjudged “best performed chief Director two consecutive times. Head of Department of Geology from 2008 to 2010 and a Senior Research Associate of the Third World Network, from 11996 to date. Research interests are in the areas of mining sector investment appraisal, mining and sustainable development and mining and petroleum policies. Has led research and training programs in several African countries and has more than 50 publications.
