Research Interest

Dr. Rabiu K. B. Asante has been exploring digital technologies and their influence on social behaviour and interactions in developing countries. Currently, he is exploring the mental health needs of problematic digital sports gambling in Ghanaian urban spaces as well as the adoption of AI in digital research. Dr. Asante’s major research interests include technology and society, social media and the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) ICT and informal markets, mHealth, digital gaming, social networks, smart governance, and cross-cultural digital research. He has considerable experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
