Dr. Cecilia Eliason is a Senior Lecturer and the current Head of the Department of Adult Health at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ghana. She is a Registered General Nurse with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience. Her work bridges evidence-based nursing practice and public health, and she is deeply committed to high-quality teaching, mentorship, and advancing nursing scholarship in Ghana. Dr.
Luke Laari (PhD) is a senior lecturer in the Department of Public Health Nursing in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Ghana. Dr. Laari holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Nursing from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, and a PhD in Nursing from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), South Africa. He also graduated with a Master of Nursing degree with a focus on nursing research, as well as an honours degree in nursing education (Summa Cum Laude) from UKZN, South Africa.
Dr. Gladys Dzansi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Adult Health at the University of Ghana, bringing over 25 years of distinguished experience in nursing practice, education, and research. With a PhD in Nursing from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa, she has established herself as a dynamic scholar, mentor, and healthcare innovator committed to improving lives through evidence-based education and person-centred care.
Dr. Senoo-Dogbey is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Health, School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ghana. She is also an adjunct lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives. Before joining the University of Ghana, Dr. Senoo-Dogbey worked with the Ghana Health Service and the Ministry of Health for two decades.
Dr. Kennedy Dodam Konlan is a senior lecturer at the Department of Adult Health. I am a versatile health researcher with skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods. I also possess anthropometric, hemodynamic, and biochemical skills, having obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Medical Physiology. I am a registered nurse and a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Ghana (lawyer) with several years of experience in providing care for non-communicable diseases, public health advocacy, and championing the rights of minority/vulnerable populations.
Dr. Oboshie Anim-Boamah is a trained nurse for over 20 years and has been in academia for 17 years. Currently, a senior lecturer who teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Department of Research, Education and Administration, University of Ghana, Legon. She has supervised over twenty undergraduate and ten postgraduate research projects. She is an external examiner and supervisor for external universities. The research interests include procedural pain management in children, clinical competency skills in nursing education.
Dr. Atswei Adzo Kwashie is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Research, Education, and Administration, School of Nursing and Midwifery. She has a wealth of experience in teaching nursing and has engaged in clinical supervision of student nurses in the clinical area at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Kwashie has interests in nursing/midwifery ethics and standards. She is passionate about socialization of student nurses and midwives into the nursing/midwifery profession.
