Dr. Kennedy Dodam Konlan is a senior lecturer at the Department of Adult Health. I am a versatile health researcher with skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods. I also possess anthropometric, hemodynamic, and biochemical skills, having obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Medical Physiology. I am a registered nurse and a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Ghana (lawyer) with several years of experience in providing care for non-communicable diseases, public health advocacy, and championing the rights of minority/vulnerable populations.

I have extensive experience in both rural and urban healthcare delivery, having worked for a considerable amount of time at the Yendi Municipal Hospital, Yendi, and the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra, providing world-class clinical care before joining the Adult Health Department at the University of Ghana.

My vision is to impact generations through teaching, research, publication, and public health advocacy. My mission is to train and mentor a cadre of nurses and midwives with a passion for excellence in practice, research, education, and advocacy.
