About
I am an exceptional registered midwife with over thirteen (13) years’ progressive experience in midwifery practice, maternal, newborn, women’s health, sexual reproductive health programme management, nursing and midwifery education, research, gender advocacy, workforce development, and policy engagement.
As a top-performing midwife with a high sense of cultural competency and sensitivity, I have successfully set up, commissioned, and managed the maternity departments of two high-rated health institutions in Ghana over the past 6 years and championed the design and successful implementation of crucial maternal, newborn, and sexual reproductive health interventions. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to drive pandemic and emergency maternal, newborn, and reproductive health response, engaged in multi-country projects on midwifery and maternal health, and developed strategic partnerships at national and global levels.
