About
As a professional nurse trained in Ghana, my main objective is to ensure the attainment of quality care for patients and their families. Advocating for the rights of the population is a priority for me, both in academia and in clinical practice. Using my scholarship and knowledge to train quality nurses to provide optimum patient and family-centred care is a hallmark. My focus is on ensuring equity in the accessibility and availability of health care services through quality palliative, oncology, and geriatric care, public health education, and implementation, particularly for minority groups and underserved populations. My goal is to improve palliative, oncology, and geriatric care delivery in resource-limited settings in Ghana and globally, and minority populations living in high-income countries. Palliative education for all healthcare professionals for accessibility at every level of care is a passion I aim to achieve through evidence-based research. My research goal is to develop a community-based program to support palliative care patients and their families, both locally and internationally.
