Dr. Deborah Armah

About
Dr. Deborah Armah is an innovative, competent, committed, active, and easily adaptable young woman who is also hard-working. She is a lecturer working with the University of Ghana (Legon, Accra). She lectures both graduate and undergraduate nursing students. Aside from her lecturing she undertakes supervision of both master's and degree nursing students, directing students with their patient care studies, mentors, and coaches’ students. During her nursing career, she rendered individualistic nursing care to patients and patient’s relatives, mentored both diploma and degree nursing students, supervised nursing staff, engaged in administrative duties, played an advocacy role for her patients. Deborah created a structured, and supportive environment in which students will feel safe and appreciated, increase my engagement in teaching and learning through research, and dissemination of results and stay current in the field of knowledge. Her research interest is in maternal health, specifically
Education and Qualification
Dr. Deborah Armah had a Ph.D. degree in Nursing from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and an MPhil degree in Nursing from the University of Ghana, Legon.
