Dr. David Atsu Deegbe

About
Dr. Deegbe has twelve years of experience in mental health nursing. He joined the SoNM, University of Ghana, as an assistant lecturer at the Mental Health Nursing Department and is now a Lecturer. His research areas are psychosocial aspects of epilepsy, mental illness, and epilepsy-related quality of life, tool development, stigma in mental illness, depression, anxiety, and stress.
Education and Qualification
Dr. Deegbe did Diploma in Mental Nursing. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in general nursing from Central University, an MPhil. Nursing from the University of Ghana and a PhD from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg – South Africa. He is a registered mental nurse and a fellow of the West African Post-Graduate College of Nursing.
