First-Year Pop Ensemble Wows Audience with 'Into the Future' Unplugged Session
The Department of Music recently hosted a captivating debut performance by the first-year students of the Pop Ensemble.
The Department of Music's Unplugged Session for 2024 kicked off in sensational style with an electrifying performance by Rama Blak and the Vibe Tribe Band. The event, held at our department's forecourt, drew a diverse audience of music enthusiasts, spanning from eager Level 100 students to seasoned patrons.
The Department of Music hosted the S+T+ARTS 4AFRICA Residence Program Info Session on 31st January 2024. The residency program calls on artists to apply for a challenge titled "Coding Ghanaian Culture: Reimagining Nsadwase Nkɔmɔ for Contemporary Relevance." This challenge aims to revitalize Anansesem storytelling and palmwine music traditions, a cultural heritage facing a decline within the context of Nsadwase Nkɔmɔ.
