The Legal Affairs Directorate (LAD) of the University of Ghana is the University’s principal legal advisory and support unit, dedicated to safeguarding the institution’s legal and strategic interests while promoting good governance, accountability, and regulatory compliance.

We provide expert legal services in areas including legal advisory and representation, dispute resolution, contract and transactional review, policy development, land and property matters, regulatory compliance, and institutional risk management. The Directorate also offers limited legal support services to members of the University community in accordance with University policies.
