About
Dr. Jessica Juweriah Ibrahim is a Chemical Engineer with a multidisciplinary background that bridges nutrition, food science, and chemical technology. She holds a PhD from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and an MSc from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, following a BSc in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Ghana. Her research focuses on developing innovative and sustainable food processes and products, valorizing food waste through the extraction of bioactive compounds, and exploring advanced topics in organic synthesis and homogeneous catalysis. Dr. Ibrahim has published extensively in both food science and organic chemistry journals, demonstrating her ability to integrate scientific innovation across fields to address pressing challenges in food security and sustainable development.
