The University of Ghana Students Financial Aid Office has opened the renewal of the UG Sponsorship for the 2025/2026 academic year. This scholarship seeks to provide financial support (tuition fees) to needy and brilliant regular Main Campus Undergraduate students of the University of Ghana.
You are eligible to apply if you:
- Have been previously awarded the UG Sponsorship
- Have been awarded UG for Level 100 during the 2024/2025 first semester
HOW TO APPLY FOR UG SCHOLARSHIP
- You are required to visit the SFAO website: https://www.ug.edu.gh/financialaid/
- Go to Scholarships, then select UG Sponsorship
- Read the eligibility page and complete the ONLINE RENEWAL APPLICATION FORM. With the required essays.
- In addition, applicants are required to PRINT OUT A HARDCOPY of the DECLARATION FORM and submit it to the Students Financial Aid Office on or before the deadline– Thursday, June 4, 2025.
Supporting documents include a copy of your Proof of registration, Transcripts, SFAO Award Letter, a current evidence of income of parents and any other documents that you believe will assist in the processing of your application.

If you have previously been awarded UG Sponsorship from SFAO and would like to renew, please select 'Renewal of Application' under Application Type on the online form.
