Educational Pathways International (EPI) Scholarship Scheme is a US based Charity Organization which seeks to identify and help exceptional students from disadvantaged backgrounds with exceptional abilities (Gifted Child) in the University of Ghana from less endowed schools or deprived areas. An M.O.U between the University of Ghana and the officials of the Scholarship scheme was signed in 2008 to sponsor level 100 and continuing students from deprived areas throughout the stipulated duration of their studies in the University.
CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION - 2025/2026
The Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is accepting applications for the Educational Pathways International Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year. The scholarship is designed for high achievers (Gifted Student) who are from areas of need.
The Scholarship will cover tuition, books, as well as room and board, and a little extra and will be awarded for four years as long as excellent academic standards of at least a B CGPA (3.0 GPA) continue to be met.
You are eligible to apply if you:
1. Are a Level 100 regular or fee-paying student on main campus.
2. Reside in an impoverished part of the country.
3. Can demonstrate limited family income and/or insufficient funds to cover most or all educational-related expenses.
4. Have the will to succeed (determination, perseverance and success in other pursuits).
5. Obtained an aggregate of 11 or better at the WASSCE.
6. Are Level 200 continuing students with CGPA of 3.5 or better or Level 300 continuing students reading a Six-year program with CGPA of 3.7 or better (limited slot).
7. Confirm that you are not currently receiving support through any other scholarship program and pledge not to accept any other scholarship while in the EPI program.
8. Medical students both Level 100 and continuing are encouraged to apply
- Complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM. With the required essays.
- In addition, applicants are required to PRINT OUT A HARDCOPY of the DECLARATION FORM and submit it to the Students Financial Aid Office on or before the deadline.
Supporting documents include a copy of your academic records (Transcripts / WASSCE grades), letters of recommendation, Birth Certificates of siblings, supporting need documents and, any other documents that you believe will assist in the processing of your application. Deadline for the submission of the applications is Wednesday, 11TH FEBRUARY 2026.
