The University of Ghana Students' Financial Aid Office is pleased to inform the University Community, its affiliates, other higher-level institutions, stakeholders, partners, and the general public of its inaugural conference. This conference forms part of the 20th Anniversary of the SFAO.

Theme: "Promoting Equity, Expanding Access, and Enhancing Aid Administration in Tertiary Education"

This two-day event will bring together experts, practitioners, and leaders to discuss critical issues and sustainable solutions for financial aid in higher education.

The University of Ghana Students Financial Aid Office has opened the UG Scholarship for level 100. This scholarship seeks to provide financial support (tuition fees) to needy and brilliant regular Main and City Campus Undergraduate students of the University of Ghana.

Mr. Lawrence Addo, an alumnus of the University of Ghana and the Chief Executive Officer of Relish Company Limited, has donated GH40, 000.00 to the Students Financial Aid Office to support brilliant but financially challenged students.

Founders of Educational Pathways International (EPI), Mr. Leonard Lafrance and Mrs. Sara Lafrance have visited the University of Ghana to interview applicants of the EPI Scholarship. After the process, 12 new students have been added to the 24 already on the scheme.

Over 500 brilliant and needy students of the University of Ghana have been awarded scholarships for the 2022/2023 academic year. Among the beneficiaries were some Students with Special Needs. 

The students were presented with their award letters at a brief ceremony organised by the Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO).
