The Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is accepting applications for the award of Scholarships from the 2024/2025 academic year. It will be awarded for four years as long as excellent academic standards of at least a B CGPA (3.0 GPA) for continuing students are met.
You are eligible to apply if you:
1. Are a Level 100 regular student.
2. Are able to demonstrate limited family income and/or insufficient funds to cover most or all educational-related expenses.
3. Obtained an aggregate of 16 or better at the WASSCE.
- You are required to visit the SFAO website: https://www.ug.edu.gh/financialaid/
- Go to Scholarships, then select Progress of Education Scholarship
- Read the eligibility page and complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM. With the required essays. In addition, applicants are required to PRINT OUT A HARDCOPY of the DECLARATION FORM with all the relevant supporting documentation and submit it to the Students Financial Aid Office on or before the deadline.
Supporting documents include a copy of your academic records (Transcripts / WASSCE grades), letters of recommendation, Birth Certificates of siblings, supporting need documents and, any other documents that you believe will assist in the processing of your application. Deadline for the submission of the applications is Monday, 10TH FEBRUARY 2025.
