FIRST COHORT OF MPHIL STUDENTS UNDER THE ANDREW W. MELLON SPONSORED ENCAPEH PROJECT GRADUATES

The first cohort of MPhil students sponsored under the Andrew W. Mellon project titled Enhancing Capacity and Post Graduate Education in the Humanities at the University of Ghana (ENCAPEH) graduates.

The project aims at building masters, doctoral and postdoctoral training capacity in the humanities at the University of Ghana. The project which commenced in September 2017 has so far enrolled 15 MPhil and 10 PhD students.  Thirteen (13) out of the fifteen MPhil students have completed their 2-year studies and have successfully graduated at a virtual congregation ceremony of the University of Ghana in November 2020. Five of the graduates have been enrolled onto another Mellon funded project titled Enhancing Doctoral Training in the Humanities at the University of Ghana (ENDOTH) while two have gained admission to pursue their PhD studies at University of Boston, USA and University of Paris-Saclay, France.
