Undergraduate Courses – Theatre Arts Department
The Theatre Arts Department offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate courses designed to provide students with a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of theatre. Our curriculum spans key areas such as acting, directing, playwriting, stage and costume design, technical theatre, theatre history, performance studies, and dramatic theory.
Students also explore theatre for development, African performance traditions, and contemporary global theatre practices. Courses are delivered through lectures, studio sessions, workshops, and live productions, allowing students to apply their knowledge in creative and collaborative settings.
This well-rounded training equips graduates with the artistic, academic, and professional skills needed for careers in theatre, film, education, media, and the broader creative industries.
