Dr. Mabel Oti-Boadi

Mabel Oti-Boadi holds a PhD in Psychology and a Senior lecturer of Psychology (Clinical/Health Psychology), University of Ghana. She is also a fellow with the Fox international Fellowship at Yale University and the Center for Suicide and Violence Research-Ghana (CSVR). Dr. Oti-Boadi has published in peer reviewed journals in areas of adolescent and women’s mental health and the dynamics of parenting children with special needs. She is a licensed practicing clinical psychologist in Ghana. She is also a former national treasurer of the Ghana Psychological Association (GPA).

1. Challenges and Support needs of Parents of Children with Developmental Disorders.
2. Perspectives of Parents on the Sexuality of their Adolescent Children with Developmental Disabilities.
3. Predictors of loneliness among students in multiple countries (South Africa, United States, Australia), and within the United States (east coast, midwest, and west coast).
4. Effect of sexual violence/assault experiences on students' attitudes and behavior toward sexual violence.
