Mrs Vida Ocloo is an accomplished Assistant Lecturer with a strong administrative and clinical background, previously serving as a Deputy Director at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC). With extensive experience in healthcare leadership, she has played a pivotal role in coordinating clinical services, strengthening healthcare systems, and supporting operational management within a major tertiary facility. Her commitment to community health is evident through her active involvement in numerous outreach programmes, where she has led and participated in initiatives focused on health education, screening, maternal health, and disease prevention across various regions. She is passionate about service delivery, capacity building, and mentoring young health professionals.
As an educator, she brings a wealth of practical experience to the academic environment, integrating real-world health system insights into teaching and research. Her professional interests include health administration, maternal and child health, and community engagement. Dedicated, innovative, and service-oriented, she continues to contribute meaningfully to healthcare improvement and academic excellence.
