About

Dr. Kafui Abra Hobenu is a Lecturer in the Department of Research, Education, and Administration at the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Kafui has a wealth of experience in teaching theoretical and practical nursing. She has engaged in clinical supervision of nursing students. Dr. Hobenu has worked extensively for Ghana's Nursing and Midwifery Council in various capacities. Her vision is to impact different generations of nursing and midwifery students to become healthcare professionals who will competently operate in the interprofessional space and provide the highest quality of care to the deserving populace. Kafui aims to achieve this through effective teaching, supervision, rigorous research, and impactful community services.  She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at conferences.

Education and Qualification

Dr Hobenu is a registered nurse and holds a PhD in Health Professions Education, an MPhil in Nursing, a BSc in Nursing, a BEd in Health Sciences, and a certificate in Health Administration and Management from the University of the Free State, Republic of South Africa, the University of Ghana, the University of Cape Coast, and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, respectively.
