Born June 27, 1957. He began teaching at the University of Ghana in March, 1995. Has taught the following courses in the Department of Music, University of Ghana: Introduction to Part-Writing Techniques, Harmony and Counterpoint, Music in African Cultures, Music of Southern Africa, Area Studies (Asia Indonesia), Orchestration (The Small Orchestra & The Large Orchestra), History of Music in the Baroque Period, History of Music in the Classical Period, History of Music in the Romantic Period, History of Music in the in the Twentieth (& Twenty-first) Century, Historical Perspectives in Music Theory. Currently his focus is on teaching the history of music and Historical Perspectives. His interests and area of research are in the Early Ghanaian Composers from c. 1890 to the 2000s. A choral enthusiast and practitioner. He handles choral groups.
