Korean pianist Dr. Kyoung Ok Kim has been a lecturer of piano and musicianship in the Music Department of the School of Performing Arts, the University of Ghana, Legon, since 2003. She is a performer of classical and sacred music and the author of Piano Tutor for Adults- Book 1 and Piano Tutor with Repertoire- Book 2 (2012). She served as a pianist at the Sarang Community Church in Seoul (1980- 2002) and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Christian music and a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Bernadean, Korea and USA. Dr Kim has recorded some piano performances with choirs and soloists in Seoul, South Korea, and has a piano solo album Immortal love forever full (2002). Currently, Aside Piano and Musicianship, she is in charge of the Annual undergraduate recital and composition concert organized in the department to assess students who have chosen to take recital or composition as their project work.
