About
Ms. Gladys Kontoh is an Assistant Lecturer with a strong academic background in Food Process Engineering from the University of Ghana and a Master’s degree in Food Technology from Ghent University and KU Leuven in Belgium. Her research interests revolve around processing and preservation technologies that enhance the functional and structural properties of food, aiming to extend shelf-life and improve food quality. She is passionate about addressing challenges in traditional food processing through innovation and improving products derived from a wide range of food and industrial crops. Her areas of specialization include post-harvest and food preservation engineering, food quality management, efficient food packaging, and food waste management. Ms. Kontoh has also contributed to research on sustainable food packaging solutions.
