PEBO 211: Lower Plants (Bryophytes and Pteridophytes)

The course is designed to enable students explore the diversity of seedless vascular plants and their adaptations to the terrestrial habitat. It will discuss the morphology, internal structure and life cycles of bryophytes and pteridophytes. It will also review the economic and ecological relevance of these lower vascular plants. Evolutionary trend in the Pteridophytes will also be discussed.
