About

Mrs. Gifty Agyapomaa Oko-Adjei is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Distance Education at the University of Ghana. Gifty’s 26years teaching experience in the Ghana Education Service and Academia makes her an expert in Education and Human Resources Management.  Gifty holds a Master of Philosophy in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana and is currently pursuing a PhD in Human Resource Management at the University of South Africa.

Her passion for education makes her stand out in her teaching preparation, delivery and support for students. Gifty is a dedicated faculty who believes in integrity, hard work and commitment to duty. Her passion and dedication to work has placed her in roles in the department, college and outside the school environment such as an advisor, member of the College of Education Printing Team, Deputy head of the Course Development and Production Unit of the Department of Distance Education, floor tutor for Akuafo Hall Annex A 3rd Floor, Harvest Committee Member, PCG Ebenezar Congregation and other consultancy services.

As a lecturer of the department, Gifty shares her theoretical knowledge and practical experiences in Human Resource Management and Education with faculty, her students and the society. This makes her professional in her work and helps promote students’ interest in their programme choices.
