Over the weekend, as part of the Diaspora Campuses Project Tour, the President of the University of Ghana Distance Education Junior Common Room (UGDE–JCR), H.E Solomon Avorkah, paid an official visit to the Kumasi Learning Center.

Demonstrating leadership grounded in action and compassion, the President donated 15 bags of rice and a streetlight to support the welfare and safety of students at the center. This thoughtful gesture reflects the commitment of the AVORKAH-NORVIVOR LED ADMINISTRATION to improving student life, both on and off campus.
During an engaging interactive session with the student body, key concerns were raised, including the pressing need for a SUMMER HUT; a designated space for both relaxation and academic purposes. After listening attentively and validating the concerns, H.E Solomon Avorkah pledged to initiate the construction of the summer hut as part of his administration’s ongoing projects aimed at enhancing student experience across all learning centers.

This visit to Kumasi marks yet another impactful milestone under the AVORKAH-NORVIVOR LED ADMINISTRATION, showcasing the JCR’s resolve to leave no center behind.
We say a very big thank you for the warm welcome paid to us by the hardworking centre executives of the Kumasi Learning Centre.
Stay tuned for more updates as the Diaspora Campuses Project Tour continues!
