About the Department

The Department of Agricultural Extension at the University of Ghana is committed to promoting sustainable agricultural transformation and rural development through quality teaching, innovative research, and community engagement. Its programmes combine traditional and emerging areas of study, including rural sociology, communication, gender planning, agricultural value chains, entrepreneurship, climate change, and sustainable livelihoods.
