The Academic Affairs Directorate (AAD) has set a bold new course following a Strategic Action Plan Development Retreat held in Ho from April 7–9, 2025. Under the leadership of Director Mrs. Lydia Anowa Nyako-Danquah and with the support of the Resource Person Prof. Damoah Obi Berko (UGBS), the Directorate developed goals and objectives based on UG's five strategic priorities, including a focus on transformative student experiences and sustainable resource mobilization. This planning coincided with a massive ITS Student-Related Data Clean-Up exercise from April 9–11, where staff corrected over 13,000 records to ensure the accuracy of course registrations and credit hours.
To support these goals, over 100 staff members underwent intensive Customer Experience Training on April 24–25 to bridge service gaps and enhance professional responsiveness
