The various campuses of the University of Ghana were filled with colour and excitement as employees and students adorned themselves with stylish clothes made from the UG at 75 cloth.
Alumni both home and abroad also joined in the euphoria from their various locations, posting pictures on their various social media platforms using the hashtag UGIS75.
During the thanksgiving service held on August 11, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo declared October 11 as Wear UG Day to commemorate the day on which the University was outdoored.
Photography stands were mounted at the S.K. Aboah Recreational Quadrangle where professional photographers took memorable photographs of exited individuals and groups beautifully clad in the anniversary cloth.
