The Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana (CIUG) has been recognised as an outstanding Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Outstanding Test Centre of the International Chinese Language Examination for 2023.
This accolade was conferred at a prestigious award ceremony held during the World Chinese Conference at the Beijing National Convention Centre.
The event, organised by the China National Committee for International Language Cooperation and Chinese Testing International Company Limited, showcased excellence in language proficiency examinations. The Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana, standing out among 1374 global test centres, was recognised for its remarkable achievements throughout the year.
Chinese Testing International, meticulously assessed test centres based on criteria such as the number of examinees, test management proficiency, marketing capabilities and event organisation abilities. The University of Ghana's Confucius Institute was one of the 73 globally recognised “Outstanding HSK Test Centres” and proudly secured its place among the six distinguished centres in Africa.
The Confucius Institute at the University of Ghana has become a hub for Chinese language enthusiasts, providing quality examination services and promoting cultural understanding. This recognition further solidifies its standing as a key player in the global Chinese language education landscape.
