On the bright morning of May 13, 2025, the serene atmosphere of Shama Senior High School was filled with excitement and anticipation. At exactly 9:30AM, a distinguished team from Takoradi City Campus arrived on the school grounds, greeted by eager students and faculty members. The representatives— Ms. Bernardine Agyeman, the Campus Administrator, Mrs. Mercy Obeng, a Principal Administrative Assistant together with Mrs. Grace Arthur and Mr. Terry Nyarkoh, a National Service Person —had come with an important mission: to present the academic requirements for admission to their prestigious institution. 

As students settled into their seats, the delegation from Takoradi City Campus took center stage, offering valuable insights into the various programmes and opportunities available at the University of Ghana, the College of Education and the Takoradi City Campus. Each representative spoke passionately about the benefits of furthering one’s education with particular emphasis on academic life at the Takoradi City Campus, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, skill development, and career growth. 

Following the presentation, the session transitioned into a lively and engaging question-and-answer discussion, led by the campus administrator. Students seized the opportunity to seek clarification on admission criteria, scholarships, extracurricular activities, and career prospects. Their enthusiasm reflected a deep curiosity and eagerness to plan for their future. 

By the time the session concluded, it was evident that the visit had left a lasting impression. The representatives from Takoradi City Campus departed with the satisfaction of having ignited ambition in the hearts of many students. Meanwhile, Shama Senior High School buzzed with discussions about potential academic journeys ahead. It was a morning that not only informed but inspired—a true testament to the power of education in shaping bright futures.
