On Tuesday, 20th May 2025, the Takoradi City Campus (TCC) conducted an outreach programme at Takoradi Senior High School (Tadisco), engaging with all final-year students, both male and female. The event, jointly organized by the staff of Tadisco Senior High School and Takoradi City Campus, aimed to provide students with comprehensive information regarding academic opportunities at TCC.
Representing Takoradi City Campus were Ms. Bernardine Agyeman, Campus Administrator, and Mrs. Mercy Obeng, Principal Administrative Assistant. They were accompanied by other staff members, including Mrs. Grace Arthur and Mr. Terry Nyarkoh. The team addressed the students on the various academic programmes available at the University of Ghana, Legon and the Takoradi City Campus, the application process, and the establishment of the campus as an extension of higher learning in the University of Ghana, Legon.

Following the presentations, an interactive session was held, allowing students to seek clarification on various topics. Notable among the questions raised were inquiries about accommodation facilities at Takoradi City Campus and whether faculty members teaching at the City Campus were the same as those at the main campus. The TCC representatives provided detailed responses, ensuring that students left the session with a clear understanding of the opportunities available to them.
The outreach served as an informative and engaging platform, equipping students with relevant knowledge to make informed decisions about their academic futures. The collaboration between Tadisco Senior High School and Takoradi City Campus exemplifies a commitment to fostering educational growth and accessibility.
