About

Prof. Sakyi-Dawson is an Associate Professor of Food Science and a Certified Food Scientist, currently serving the University of Ghana on a post-retirement contract. She holds a BSc and MPhil from the University of Ghana and a PhD from Cornell University, USA.

Her research and teaching focus on food quality and sensory science, food product and process development, food packaging and preservation technologies, and traditional food processing techniques. She has served on several boards and committees and previously served as Director of Academic Quality Assurance at the University of Ghana from 2014 to 2018.
