Dr. Husein Mohammed is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Ghana, with academic and research expertise in child development and maternal and child health. He holds an MPhil in Dietetics from the University of Ghana and a PhD in Nutrition from McGill University, Canada.

His work focuses on understanding factors that influence child development, maternal health, and child health and nutrition outcomes. He is also actively involved in teaching, research, and student mentorship, and currently serves as an Academic Advisor for Level 300 students.
