About
Dr. Agartha Ohemeng is a Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition with over 20 years of experience in community-based nutrition research. Her research interests include infant and maternal nutrition, child nutrition, diet and disease, and community nutrition.
She has contributed to major infant and child nutrition projects, including the WHO Multicentre Growth Reference Study and the Research to Improve Infant Nutrition and Growth project. She currently serves as Programmes Coordinator of the University of Ghana Nutrition Research and Training Centre (NRTC), Asesewa, and Director of the Dietetic Internship in Rural Community Nutrition Program. She is also actively involved in training, mentoring students, community nutrition programmes, and nutrition and public health research.
