IMPORTANT NOTICE
Application Deadline for Specific College of Health Sciences Programmes – 2026/2027 Academic Year
The University of Ghana wishes to inform the general public—especially current and prospective applicants—that the deadline for applications to the following undergraduate programmes (Level 100 entry) under the College of Health Sciences for the 2026/2027 academic year is July 24, 2026.
Programmes:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery
- Doctor of Pharmacy
- BSc. Nursing
- BSc. Midwifery
- BSc. Medical Laboratory Sciences
- BSc. Physiotherapy
- BSc. Dietetics
- BSc. Diagnostic Radiography
- BSc. Occupational Therapy
- BSc. Respiratory Therapy
Please note that:
- Entrance exams for the selected programmes will be written before High School results are released.
- The entrance exams will be computer-based.
- Applications to these programmes will be closed on this deadline. Late submissions will not be possible.
- All prospective applicants who wish to pursue any of these programmes should apply by the deadline. They do not need their results to write the entrance exams.
- The outcome of the entrance exams will be used together with the results to admit.
- This arrangement will allow enough time for the selection process for these programmes.
- Applicants who do not make the pass mark for the entrance exams will have the chance to select other programmes before applications for all other programmes are closed.
- Further details about the entrance exams are provided as soon as a prospective applicant selects any of these programmes on the admissions portal.
Current and prospective applicants are strongly advised to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information in their applications to facilitate effective communication throughout the admissions process.
