UGA Global Alumni Network App Launched to Deepen Engagement and Mobilise Support
A renewed drive to unite and mobilise the global alumni community, championed by the Institutional Advancement Directorate, has culminated in the launch of the UGA Global Alumni Network App.
The initiative seeks to strengthen lifelong connections between the University and its graduates while enhancing alumni engagement through networking, mentorship and collaboration, as well as mobilising support for University development projects.
At the launch, which brought together representatives of alumni groups and University officials, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo described the app as a strategic platform designed to reconnect graduates, advance mentorship and professional networking, promote alumni engagement and support the continued growth of the University.
She encouraged alumni to register, update their profiles, reconnect with classmates and actively participate in building a stronger global UG alumni community.
The Director of the Institutional Advancement Directorate, Prof. Gordon Abekah-Nkrumah, described the app as a key step in building a renewed relationship between the University and its alumni, creating opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, networking and institutional support.
The Directorate has invited all UG alumni across all year groups to register via https://ald.ug.edu.gh/ to join the global alumni network.
