The Educational Technology (MA, MPhil) programme at the University of Ghana, offered through the Department of Distance Education, focuses on the effective use of technology to improve teaching, learning, and educational management. It equips students with knowledge and skills in instructional design, e-learning, digital learning resources, educational media, learning technologies, and research on technology-supported education. 

The MA option is designed to build professional skills for educators and practitioners, while the MPhil option places stronger emphasis on advanced research and preparing graduates for academic and research careers in educational technology. The programmes are delivered online and aim to develop professionals capable of designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative technology-based learning solutions.
