UTAG-UG Reaffirms Commitment to Institutional Growth and Staff Welfare in Engagement with University Management

The University Teachers Association of Ghana, University of Ghana Chapter (UTAG-UG), led by its President, Dr. Jerry Joe Harrison, has outlined a series of new initiatives aimed at enhancing staff welfare, promoting research visibility and strengthening collaborative governance with university management.

During an engagement with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, Dr. Harrison and his team announced plans to support quality health service delivery, launch a university-wide research visibility portal and advocate for policy reforms to improve operations and institutional autonomy.

The Vice-Chancellor commended UTAG-UG for its proactive approach and commitment to partnership. She expressed the readiness of management to collaborate on mutually beneficial projects.

The visit provided an opportunity to introduce new UTAG-UG executives to the Vice-Chancellor.
